Gojoseon : The prelude to war, The origin of Koreans

Gojoseon (BC2333-BC108), the first Korean nation moved her capital to Pyongyang after being attacked by China's Yan Dynasty. Gojoseon, which increased agricultural production due to the fertile land in the Taedong River basin, grows into a powerful country. Meanwhile, China began a slaughter war with iron weapons during the Warring States Period. The final winner of the war was Qin Shi Huang's Qin dynasty, but Qin Shi Huang's tyranny led to its collapse in 15 years. After that, the Chinese continent was divided into two countries: Chu and Han, and then integrated by Han. At that time, many people fled China feeling threatened with their lives because the Chinese continent was in such a state of chaos. A man named Weiman, who lived in the Yan Dynasty, also escaped from China and came to Gojoseon. He visited the king of Gojoseon and entrusted his body. King Jun greatly trusted and cherished Wiman because he was from Gojoseon and because he was able to produce highly advanced iron weapons. King Jun entrusted Wiman with the head of the border guard. However, Wiman who had developed his strength in the border area expelled the king Jun and became the king of Gojoseon. King Jun descended to the south of the Korean Peninsula and became king of Jin.

[The prelude to war]

Due to the advanced iron farming equipment and iron weapons brought by Wi Man, Gojoseon's national power grew. Gojoseon built national wealth through relay trade based on the strengthened national power. Large quantities of iron were produced in the Jin south of the Korean Peninsula. This iron was purchased by the Han Dynasty of China, and Gojoseon, which was in the middle, made a huge profit by broadcasting trade. Feeling anxious as Gojoseon's power grew day by day, the Han Dynasty began to recruit Ye and Maek people living around Gojoseon to keep Gojoseon in check. Furious at this, Gojoseon prevented other Ye and Maek people's countries from interacting with the Han. (Gojoseon was also established by the Ye and Maek People)  Moreover, upon hearing Gojoseon was trying to unite with Xiongnu(the huns mother), The king of the Han Dynasty sent a submission Subha to King of Gojoseon to demand that King Uger of Gojoseon obey him. But King Uger rejects this offer. For the reference King Ugeo was a grandson of Wiman. On his way back to the Han Dynasty, Subha killed Jang, who was escorting him, and was appointed as the chief administrator of the Liaotung for this achievement. The Liaotung was adjacent to Gojoseon. Very angry at this, King Ugeo led the army into the Liaotung and killed Subha. Now the war between Han and Gojoseon has become inevitable.

[The origin of Koreans]

Koreans were mainly created by the fusion of Ye, Mack, Han People. The Ye were a tiger-worshiping people and the Mack were bear-worshiping people. Ye and Mack people lived in the north of the Korean peninsula. The Han people were indigenous people living in the southern part of the Korean Peninsula. It is different from Chinese Han. Gojoseon is known to have been built together by the Ye and Mack. Goguryeo and Okjeo were established by the Mack, while Buyeo and Dongye were established by the Ye. Han People were members of the Jin and Samhan. And there were people of the Scythian, such as Gaya and Silla.
