[Foundation and the heyday]

Buyeo was an ancient Korean country that existed until the mid-Three Kingdoms Period, which was formed when Gojoseon collapsed. Buyeo includes Bukbuyeo(North Buyeo), Dongbuyeo(East Buyeo), Nambuyeo(Baekje), and Gilsabuyeo. Buyeo is commonly referred to as Bukbuyeo. The founding date of Bukbuyeo is unclear, but it is estimated to be around the 4th century B.C. According to the founding legend, the founder of Buyeo was Dongmyeong, and Buyeo was established after Dongmyeong had escaped from the country Gori. The Gori Kingdom was in the area where the Heilong Jiang River is now located. Buyeo's heyday was from the 1st to 3rd centuries, and She was the best in the region during the reign of King Geumwa. During this period, Goguryeo was attacked by  China's Wei Dynasty and Buyeo helped Wei to keep Goguryeo in check. Buyeo did not always have good relations with China, but it also attacked the Nakrang of the Han Dynasty. (Nakrang was created after the Han Dynasty destroyed Gojoseon.)

[Decline]

It was severely damaged by the invasion of mujung tribe, She was one of  tribes of Xiānbēi people, in 285. mujung tribe's king Murong Hui attacked Buyeo, and 10,000 people were taken prisoner. In this incident, King Uilyeo of Buyeo committed suicide and his children fled to Okjeo(Okjeo was another Korean country). Later, Uila, the son of King Uilyeo, returned to Buyeo and regained the country. There is a saying that Dongbuyeo(East Buyeo) was the country that some of King Uilyeo's children were established near Okjeo. In addition, those from Dongbuyeo people later established Goguryeo and Baekje.

PS. Yeon Gaesomun(General) of Goguryeo was from Dongbuyeo.

[Defeat]

The Xiānbēi people's mujung tribe established the Yan Dynasty. (She was different from the age of civil wars's Yan) The founder of the Yan Dynasty was Murong Huang. In 346, Murong Huang attacked Buyeo, and about 50,000 Buyeo people were taken to the Yan Dynasty, and the Bukbuyeo(North Buyeo) managed to maintain the country with the help of Goguryeo. King Gwanggaeto of Goguryeo attacked Dongbuyeo in 410, and Dongbuyeo disappeared, and in 494, Bukbuyeo was unable to withstand the attack by Miut Kit(The ancestor of Mohe. Interestingly, they later changed their names to Jurchen and unified China. The country's name was Qing, and She is famous for her opium war with Britain. It happend 1,500 years later.) so she handed over the country to Goguryeo . Finally Buyeo was removed from the map.

[Who are the Xiānbēi?]

The Xiānbēi were Mongolian or Turkic nomadic peoples. She belonged to the Xiongnu(The mother of huns.), but became independent after the fall of the Xiongnu. In the Middle Ages, China was referring to Xiānbēi. Tabgach originally referred to China, which originated from Tabgač, one of the Xiānbēi people's tribes. The Xiānbēi people were called Xiānbēi people because they lived in Xiānbēi Mountain. The Xiānbēi had a long-standing rivalry with the Yemaek people, a Korean. The countries established by the Xiānbēi included the Sui and Tang Dynasties, which unified the Chinese continent.
